🌿Natalie is a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, EMDR Therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 16 years’ experience across NHS, forensic, and community mental health services. She provides evidence-based CBT and EMDR to both self-referring clients and individuals involved in medico-legal and rehabilitation pathways.
🧠 Self-Referral – Anxiety & Emotional Wellbeing
Natalie works with individuals seeking support for a range of common mental health difficulties, with a particular focus on anxiety disorders and trauma-related presentations.
She offers evidence-based CBT & EMDR for:

⚖️ Medico-Legal & Rehabilitation Work (Specialist Area)
Natalie has a specialist interest and wealth of experience in working with individuals and families affected by life-changing injuries, and this forms a core focus of her practice.
She provides CBT & EMDR within medico-legal and rehabilitation contexts, working alongside case managers, solicitors, insurers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Her work in this area includes supporting individuals who are experiencing:
Psychological trauma following life-changing events (e.g. road traffic collisions, assaults, workplace incidents)
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Adjustment difficulties following injury or disability
Anxiety and emotional distress linked to physical health conditions
Complex presentations, including dual diagnosis
Natalie understands the significant psychological and emotional impact that injury and trauma can have not only on the individual, but also on their family. Her work focuses on supporting psychological adjustment, promoting engagement in rehabilitation, and helping individuals rebuild confidence, identity, and quality of life.
Her background in police services, prison settings, and community mental health provides a strong foundation for working with complex and high-risk presentations often seen within medico-legal contexts.
In her NHS role as a Senior Clinical Nurse Educator and Clinical Lead, Natalie has extensive experience in multidisciplinary team working, psychological assessment, and formulation-driven intervention. She is skilled in delivering structured, goal-oriented therapy aligned with rehabilitation plans, and in communicating effectively with professionals involved in client care.
Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and grounded in evidence-based practice, with a clear focus on functional outcomes and recovery.
